United States Association of Fringe Festivals

San Francisco Fringe Festival

As a CAFF member festival the SF Fringe is dedicated to a non-curated application process and to returning 100% of the box office to the producing companies. We are a small festival, hosting 40 companies in our own 4 fully equipped theatre venues ranging from 40-80 seats. We also accept applications (Non Traditional Fringe Venues) for site-specific work and have hosted shows in bars and restaurants, on buses, park benches and trees. The SF Fringe is produced by EXIT Theatre, a 27-year-old theatre company that commissions, presents, produces and co-produces theatre throughout the year.
